US Events and Attractions

US events and attractions are what bring tourists back to the country, again and again.

What to Do in the US

Now, let’s get honest here – the list of things you can do during a trip to the U.S. is a mile long. So we’re not going to cover absolutely everything, but what we are going to do is give you some things that are uniquely American and things you have to be able to say you’ve done.

  • Go to the St. Louis Arch – You have to. It’s a tall arch. And you can walk up into it.
  • Burning Man – If you want to get your neo-hippie freak on, go to Nevada in September to hang out with people who hate commercialism, but love to get dust in their eyes.
  • Griffith Park – Go to LA and hike the park where the Hollywood sign is. And then take the obligatory pictures of it, with you pointing at it with a cheesy grin on your face.
  • Disneyland or Disneyworld – You need to head to a land where things are overpriced and artificial. It’s fun.
  • A major league baseball game – Yes, America’s pastime is a good time for all. Snag bleacher seats and you will have a great time cheering for any team.
  • Fourth of July celebrations – When you’re in the country for this time, why not celebrate with fireworks, traffic, and loud noises?

Or just drive around the country and do the things that others aren’t doing – i.e. the Corn Palace.
