US Vacations
US vacations can be extended trips or they can be short weekend excursions.
Got Vacation Hours to Burn?
Choosing the vacation destination is the first step in any vacation planning. But vacation rentals are the next logical thing to reserve. No matter if you head to Florida, Montana, or Hawaii, you don’t have to stay in a dingy hotel in order to watch your budget and to help your family be comfortable. With a number of different options from which to choose, these vacation rentals aren’t just allowing you to spread out your baggage, but you can also have some extra space in which to unwind. Naked or not. It’s your house for the week, after all.
You can spend as much time as you like on a vacation (duh), but when traveling in the United States, it’s actually a better idea to spend more time than less time at popular attractions. For example, if you get to head to the Grand Canyon, a weeklong trip allows you to hike a bit, drive to the different outlooks, or to try your vertigo in the glass walkway. Or you could make the four-hour drive to the other rim to get a full experience. And sometimes, having more time allows you to, you know, actually relax on your vacation.
No Time for a Trip?
Weekend trips might be all you can afford, but this doesn’t mean you won’t enjoy them as well. Going to Yosemite for a weekend or Yellowstone is possible, though you will need to have a clear plan in mind so you can see everything and still make it back to work on Monday. Or it might be a good idea to drive two hours in any direction from your home to see what you can see. The U.S. is filled with strange little destinations that are just aching to be discovered. Just get in the car and drive until you find something interesting, then find a hotel next to it. It’s the perfect anti-vacation vacation.
