USA Things To Do

USA things to do are plenty, so choosing which ones you can fit into your vacation is the harder decision to make.

What Do You Want to Do?

The truth about planning any vacation is that there are always more things to do than time you have available away from work. You want to learn EVERYTHING about every historical site, while also finding out as much as you can about the bars in the city you’re visiting. But you can’t do it all. Unless you’re independently wealthy.

So, here are some ideas for things to put on your USA bucket list, things to do at least once.

  • Go to Washington DC – Heading to the Capitol is going to give you some insight into the government and the history of the country.
  • Visit the Grand Canyon – This isn’t just a big ditch. It’s a beautiful natural attraction that can be viewed, hiked, and explored from any number of air-conditioned vehicles.
  • Drive to Yosemite – Heading to Half Dome will take your breath away, even if you don’t want to get any nature on you.
  • Fly to New York – The Big Apple is an experience, even if you can’t afford to buy anything more than a hot dog from a street vendor. Go to Times Square, head to the Statue of Liberty, do all the touristy things.
  • Las Vegas – Luck may not be a lady to you here, but just walking the strip is an experience that no place else can replicate.

And yes, kids can go with you on these trips, well, maybe not Vegas.

When it comes to fun vacation rentals, Florida is often the best place to go first on a cross-country trip. Not only are the beaches ready to help you soak up the sun, but there’s something for everyone in the state – including a soon-to-be-gone oil spill (we hope!). No matter if your idea of vacation includes a lot of naps or if it includes a nice red burn on your back when you lay on the beach with nothing but oil and a smile on, a vacation rental is the best way to end a day.
